Race and Intergroup Dynamics Lab

Michaela is a Clinical Psychology doctoral student at Saint Louis University. Her research focuses on mental health stigma in the Black community and among communities of color more broadly. She is particularly interested in increasing engagement with mental health services by addressing cultural and systemic barriers to care. Her goal is to contribute to more equitable, accessible, and culturally responsive mental healthcare. Michaela is always eager to connect with clinicians, researchers, and advocates working at the intersection of mental health, equity, and community empowerment.
