Dr. Kyara Green is an early career psychologist at the Hampton VA Medical Center. She recently completed her graduate studies at Saint Louis University earning her Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology. In terms of research, Dr. Green focused her efforts on identifying moderating factors related to the relationship between exposure to community violence and various mental health outcomes. She hopes to continue her research in the future focusing on the impacts of exposure to community violence. Clinically, Dr. Green is passionate about providing integrated health care to historically marginalized and disenfranchised groups. She has experience working in a variety of settings including community mental health systems, a federally qualified health center, and Veterans Healthcare systems.
