Collective Healing x Black Healer’s Collective

The RID Lab conducts community based participatory research with the Black Healer's Collective, a St. Louis nonprofit organization. BHC is a “community of change agents working to advance the healing and wholeness of African diaspora” in St. Louis by sponsoring holistic wellness events and programs utilizing community resources. Community volunteers are trained in healing practices that they can offer to their local community via healing salons (The “Healing House” or “Dreaming Salon”). The RID Lab works with the BHC through research aid and program evaluation at the healing salons.
