The Race and Intergroup Dynamics (RID) laboratory was created as a research engine for examining the experience of race and racism. Yet, we embrace intersectionality and explore other social identities and diversity-related issues that impact all of our lives. Our lab’s mission is to rid the world of -isms through improving the lives of those most impacted and contributing to the dismantling of oppression. Our research methods are broad and incorporate community engagement and thought-provoking research to generate questions and solutions to foster a more equitable and just world.
