Nylah McLarren is a recent graduate of University of Missouri (2024) graduating with her B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Women and Gender Studies. Nylah is dedicated to making a lasting impact not just in her own community, but in other communities as well. She wants to gain the skills to be able to advocate for Black communities and other underrepresented communities in a culturally informed manner through reciprocal research and practice efforts. In the midst of all of this, she strives to cultivate affirming spaces for other Black women/POC. Her interests include: Racial Trauma, Coping, Intersectionality (race, gender, etc.), Black women's mental health, racism, discrimination, sexism, and developing interventions that support Black women and other minorities.
Nylah’s personal interests include sitting in the park on a nice day with an iced coffee, watching Ghibli movies, and traveling.
